Kenaston
is a rural community in central Saskatchewan located in prime farming land with
an agricultural based economy. Kenaston is ideally located at the crossroads of
two major provincial highways, #11 (also called The Louis Riel Trail) and #15.
Highway #11,
a four-lane highway, is the busiest north-south corridor in Saskatchewan. Averaging
4000 vehicles per day, it reaches peaks of 9000 daily during summer months. Highway
#15 also supports a large volume of traffic and is a local route important to
the success of area businesses.
The
convenience of Kenaston cannot be overlooked with Saskatoon, Saskatchewan's largest
city, only 45 minutes away. Regina, our capital, is less
than two hours southeast on Highway
#11.
With
the availability of high speed internet and a four-laned highway, Kenaston offers
independent business people the opportunity to live in a rural setting while having
the benefits of easy access to urban services including an international airport.
Some Kenaston residents commute to Saskatoon for their daily jobs and find the
drive relaxing and convenient. |
